Field Trip to Santa Monica

       Today's trip was a little bit special because the place was a beach. I haven't been to a place where has few
People, but the landscapes are amazing. 

       The trip started at 8:30a.m. The van's ride took about an hour from Southwestern Academy to the beach in Santa Monica. After we got there at around 9:40. Then the first thing that we have done was looking around. The landscapes was really good near the beach. I did not go swimming because I thought it is hard to clean after swimming. 
        Although I didn't touched the water in the sea, I have found many good places near the beach. For example, a restraunt is called Buby's. It is pretty good, the food at there is also tastes good. The weather was not that hot but shine, I thing I might get sunburnt during few hours. It was the worst thing that happened without doubt. So I just stay in the shadow until it's time to back to school. 
       But there was also a interesting thing happened. I saw there were plenty of people whowere surfing. Almost everyone who was surfing was fell into the water. As you can see it is a little bit funny. Some people were fashing on a huge bridge nearby the beach, a small group of them are really good at fishing. They might get many fishes from the sea.

Six Flags Magic Mountain

      We went to the Magic Mountain this Wednesday. After we finish the first period, we started our trip at about 9: 50. The Magic Mountain is a little bit far from Southwestern Academy. It took about 45 minutes to get there. There are more than 10 types of roller coaster in this amusement park. 

     I did not try any roller coaster because of fear. Although I am at the age of adventuresome, I still a little bit afraid of them. I took plenty of pictures, though I did not play any thing. The roller coasters in the Magic Mountain are awesome. If you are brave enough, you have to try it. The memorize in this amusement park would be unforgettable. To be honest, there have a roller coaster that I want to try. It is named Twisted Colossus. Mr. C showed us a short video about it. It looks like pretty good, but when I stood in front of it, I thought I could not play it. In my mind, all the roller coasters are crazy for me. Even though I did not play a roller coaster, I still have a good time. 

      My sister and me decided do not play a roller coaster in the park, so by the time, we got the Magic Mountain, I went to a Chinese restaurant is called Panda Express. The food at this restaurant is pretty good. If you want to try Chinese food in the Magic Mountain. I suggest that this restaurant you will like it. Here is another interesting thing that we did during the seven hours in the Magic Mountain. That is we tried to go shopping in it. I thought it was a good idea. So we went more than 5 stores of gift. The things in these stores are really good.
      If you want to spend your vacation very fun as a short trip to a place that has to tons of rides. I would like to visit the Magic Mountain.it is a really good place to go for fun. I'm enjoy my field trip to there.

Field Trip to LACMA

      We went to a art museum is called LACMA. This museum has many different countries' arts. There are a lot of interesting stuffs. For example, there has many small things that I do not know their name. Some of them are really pretty. 

      It is black. When I saw it for the first time. I thought it is really weird 'cause its huge and seems really heavy. At first, I saw the name of it is Smoke in my first period. In my opinion, it must like something that is very light and hard to touch, but that is not true. The truth and my imagination are totally different. I felt a little bit seriously because of its size and criterion. 

       It was made by Tony Smith. He is an artist from the U.S. I took pictures from different point of view. The shapes always change. To be honest, it is difficult for me to understand the meaning of it. In addition, I think Abstract painting is hard to make. You need to prepare many things and good imagination. It is the most important part of Abstract painting.

The Field Trip to California Science Center

             Today is August 7, 2015. It's the third time that we go on the field trip on Wednesday. This tiem we went to a special place is called California Science Center. I hardly ever go to scientific museum. So it's really a fantastic expersience for me. There are several things that I wanna show you. Some of them maybe a little bit strange and wired.

          This is the most important thing in this scienctific museum. It is a rocket that almost everyone who is stay in the U.S. value it pretty carefully. We saw a preview of this rocket before we see the real. I think it is very cool. I haven't seen a rocket until today's field trip. When I see it for the first time, I was shocked by this rocket. In addition, we saw a documentary of this rocket, spaceman and planets. It was pretty good.

      This is the most insterenting part of today's field trip I think. Although it was a trip of sence, living beings are still my favorite. I love the animals that are under the sea. They are really interesting. They are full of secrets for me. I always excited when I see them. 
       It is a little lobster, but I didn't see its tail. I thought it was really strange. The big orange thing is a trepang. I haven't seen a trapang                                         looks like it.

     
       I was stared at the aquarium when I saw there was a big crab hid itself in a hole. I didn't pay attention to the crab,so it scared me. I always think the crab is not dead looks quite cool and full of dangerous to human,isn't it? 

         Now I wanna show you a bird that lives in dessert. They looks pretty dashing and ambitious. I don't know its name, but I think its name must be very cool.Here are the pictures. I like these birds because I didn't see it until this Wednesday. They look pretty cool!
